Blackberry and Simply the Lack of Any Sort of Customer Service - Complaint
PORTLAND, OREGON -- Step one, be held hostage on the phone giving your name rank and serial number to the electronic hole that is what answers either line. If you do not provide all of the information you are disconnected. If you say that you have not powered down the device you are automatically disconnected.
If you get lucky and get through the electronic hell then a person may come on the line and ask you exactly the same information again,
after which I was transferred to a "Blackberry technician at a different number which the t-Mobile person said they did not know..?
Really then how was I magically connected to them. Patrick came on the line and started trying to decipher my issue which by the way is that my email comes to my phone however when I open it, I am only able to read the first five words and then it truncates. (Anyone know the answer to fixing this issue?)
Patrick and I were disconnected. I proceed to step one AGAIN, do the hokey pokey dance and after two more people I get put through to Bangladesh, ok maybe not but the woman had a decidedly heavy Indian accent. She told me several times she was not Blackberry technical help, and she would not put me through until she processed 49.00 American dollar.
So does that mean I am being held hostage again? For what? A question?
Move on to step three, start all over again and give out my information again I lose track how many times. When the person on the line is waiting for the "Technical guy" to come on the line, he tries to sell me a new phone and tell me all about the specials that T-Mobile has. Seriously? I just want to be put through to someone to help me trouble shoot my phone. This time I get through to someone who once again tells me he cannot answer any questions nor find a trouble ticket for my number and would be happy to assess a charge to open one for me. What the hell?
45minutes later I gave up and believe it or not my cell phone rings it is 1-800-937-8997 and when I answer they want to speak to Carmen. Now I happen to know a Carmen and I think that is a really pretty name but I said there is no Carmen here are you sure you don’t mean Stephanie? They ask again for Carmen do I know her or is she available on this number....
