Chain Restaurants that do very little cooking - Tied to the toilet after eating at chain restaurants

USA, CALIFORNIA -- What's in the food at restaurant chains that do very little cooking? Within 5 minors I'm in the head. I eat out a lot on my patrol on the railroad. I try to stay away from the chains. I can eat at a dirty taco stand with no problem. bbq shacks food trucks hot dog carts etc no problem. I've heard some chains want every item at every location to look and taste the same? Travels to Mexico no problem eating at taco carts truck stops etc. I've had no problems in the past only when the super chains started. I eat at McDonald's for breakfast a lot no problems.

What chain restaurants are you talking of specifically? McDonald's is a chain rest. and you say it gives you no problem, so it must just be certain chains, not all. More information is needed.

MAny people eat every day at various fast food joints with no problem. I don't know if there is anyone who keeps track of this sort of thing, but I would be willing to wager that people with problems such as you describe account for much less than one percent of the customers. If it was widespread, you can be sure that none of the places would be in business more than a month. I once ate corned beef hash and eggs at a truckstop while I was on patrol, and missed the next three days of work. The hash tasted strange, but I wrote it off to preparation. It happens occasionally, but is not pervasive. Perhaps your digestive system is just too sensitive, perhaps?

Most chain restaurants have a lot of grease in their food. That will give you the runs, stomach ache, etc if you are sensitive. I know I cannot eat much Burger King because its pretty greasy...yet I can eat Taco Bell just fine...which is ironic since I'm sure it has just as much as Burger King. I guess it just depends on the restaurant.

then again, I'm sure those taco carts etc have just as much....who knows, maybe your stomach can tolerate tacos but cannot tolerate other things.

When I was a teenager, which was like 1920, there was a "rub-off" card contest at BK. A guy I knew worked there, and he stole a box of them. We went with a handful of "free whopper", "free fries" etc, and got sicker than dogs. I eat fast food only occasionally.

Yea their whoppers are plain evil when it comes to getting sick! Eat too much of one, and you will be sorry. And their breakfast, while good, leaves me feeling nauseated the rest of the day...so I no longer eat it. I eat more at home now than I do out...however, I do like my Taco Bell and occasional Pizza delivery.

As for the scratch-off card contest, I wondered if the person scratched off all the cards, in hopes that one of the cards has one of the "big" prizes, in addition to the food prizes. I know that some unscrupulous McDonald's employees would steal cups, french fry boxes, etc. when the annual Monopoly game is going on, just to see how many of them come up winners...hopefully one of them being the $1 million "Boardwalk" game piece.
