BOWIE, MARYLAND -- I signed up TODAY for $199.99 24X7 tech on my laptop. I was told the most it would take to have someone look at my computer would be 2-3 days at MOST. I took it to the Best Buy Bowie, MD store, and they said 8-10 days. Then the tech said (without even opening or turning on my laptop), it's probably the hard-drive, and it will cost you! I told him to forget it and I would just have to replace the Dell, because it's old.

I came home to call for a refund of $199.99 and was told my Axle, that I would NOT get a full refund, because it's pro-rated, and I would PROBABLY get part of the money back, but definitely not all of it. The charge just came through on my bank account less than 10 minutes before I called him. Axle told me he would put in for the refund within 6-10 days, and it would be up to accounting to determine when they would put it back on my credit card.

Is 'Phyllis' a program at Best Buy or a service company that isn't listed? I couldn't find anything about it.
