Scott's/Kroger Pharmacy - Always Exceptional Service
I used to use CVS exclusively for my prescriptions as they're open 24 hours and are close to the house. However, about 18 months ago, I moved everything to Scott's/Krogers because a) their prices were better (I get one of my meds free) and b) after so many prescriptions, I would get 50 fuel points. Unfortunately, since I'm on Medicare, I can no longer get the fuel points because of the government's "anti-kickback statute" where anyone on government subsidized insurance (including government employees) cannot get any kind of premium for something paid for by insurance. That was a bummer because, with the number of meds I was on, I'd hit the 100 point minimum to get the gas discount pretty fast.
I seriously thought about going back to CVS because of the convenience but decided not to for one reason...the customer service at Scott's/Kroger. Sure, I still get good deals on the meds, but I never had a time at CVS where they would see me coming to the counter and not only call me by name but have my prescription out and ready for me when I got to the counter.
When you spend what I do on meds, getting the best deal is important. I have nothing against CVS, but the service at Scott's/Kroger is the best!
