WICHITA, KANSAS -- I had taken my car to Progressive Guaranteed shop to get it repaired thinking it's going to be promised to be good quality. It was a big mistake to trust them. Within a couple of months after my car got repaired by their so called guaranteed shop, we started seeing many chipped paint on the hood as if paint was too soft. I took it back to the shop to show how it looked, but they completely denied their wrong doing and blamed it on us for driving behind a vehicle supposedly carrying rocks and pebbles, which never happened, because they supposedly saw a few spots that paint was chipped on other parts of a vehicle. Progressive never backed us and they were totally sticking together. So we decided to wait to see how this defective paint job would progress. It sure did progressed badly. In the mean time, I have shown the paint job to other shops for their opinion. They all said we got screwed by Progressive and their guaranteed shop. I called higher manager in their claim department, but I quickly learned that her goal was not to give any comfort to a customer. Instead, She made a mission to Win the argument with a customer rather than trying to provide any service to please a customer. That's what very disappointing about all of it. I think she was very unprofessional to get her emotion to be taken over. So, I am left to pay for the guaranteed work that turned out not to be guaranteed. Remember, If you take your car to their guaranteed shop, they are going to gang up on you. You are not guaranteed. They guaranteed themselves not to have to be responsible for their poor workmanship.
