Cardon Complaint - The Cardon Team Lead
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- I was told at St.David's in the emergency care section. That my M.A.P (Medical Assistance Program) insurance coverage would not cover medical costs' prior to any type of treatment. So i had asked one of the techs who took my personal information after admission in St.Davids about getting my medical bill coverage. She told me that Cardons' charity coverage would help me prior to treatment for my migrain. I then took her word for it and accepted the treatment. At the time of my discharge; i was told that Cardons' medical coverage would not be available to me because i had M.A.P medical Insurance. So after my M.A.P card had expired i applied for Cardons' charity coverage. I was then told to bring them my income verification, bill statement, and a letter written and signed from my supporter; for the time being. When i came back to the hospital escorted to the Cardons' office by one of St.Davids employees; on my way to follow up on my services the supervisor asked me " Are you mentally ok" and made some personal comments about me in frunt of the staff on the date of 11/22/05. The next day i returned to submitt my personal documents. After submitting my documents i was given a copy of them by Rebecca Ramirez or one of the staff. She then asked me "Will that be all". I mistakenly said yes. The staff member then walked back into the office of Cardon located at 919 East 32nd Street, Austin, TX. I turned back around to get the supervisers contact or business card for any follow up. One of the staff members walked out of the office. I asked the staff member for this info. She said something like "ok or just a moment". I waited in the lobby for a few minutes. Then came the security police to escort me off the property of St.David's. I displayed no type of ill behavior prior to this incedent. I felt as if i was treated like a criminal and that the staffs' supervisor was being unethical along with other Cardon team leaders.
