Stream Energy - Horrible Customer Service, Unacceptable Billing,
Three Bills Received for the Month of June,new Rates Locked in on Line Not Posti - Complaint
DALLAS, TEXAS -- ON 6/3/12 I Received my bill(#1)I sent my payment in a couple of days later. Then on 6/6/12 I received bill (#2)for the same exact amount ??!! I didn't think much about it. Maybe someone just made a computer mistake. BUT on 6/11/12 when I received (#3)and by this time my payment should of been credited, and $11.41 was added to my bill I began to question a lot of things.... Took forever to talk to a representative and the young girl must of said "just a minute", and put me on hold twenty times. Could not give me a good reason, but I still owe $11.41.
This was an error on Stream's part the way I see it. What kind of company sends out 3 bills? So I ask to speak to her supervisor and after another long wait Jullius comes to the phone. Rudest of rude... At one point he told me if I would quit talking, he could!!! His explanation was "The first two bills were incorrect, and so they voided them "Ok ... so why were they sent to me? And is this my fault?
I have been in customer service for over 30 years. This is not how you do business. I have been with Stream since 2008.Five of my family members are also with them. There was no sorry for your inconvenience. And to top everything my rates that I locked in on line months ago have not been applied to my account. He said either I pay the $11.41 or I will be delinquent, and my power will be turned off. I guess I wasn't a valued customer.
