Customer Service Counter - Complaint
NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT -- 6/22/12 I approached the cashier at nursery inquiring on "sod" and was directed to another employee who recommend that I speak to Dave the manager at Customer Service. I walk into the store and see two female employees at the customer service section. There is a register on the side of the counter where 5-6 customers are lined up to make purchases. One is ringing customers while the other was on the phone. I stand in front of the one on the phone and waited. When she hung up she ignores me and shouts out "next in line". The next customer approaches and she rings him up. I look up at the "Customer Service" sign to confirm that I at the right place and I was. I figure that these customers may have waited long so she decides to ring the next one up first. During the transaction, a customer walks in and waits at the "return" register. When she completes the transaction, I'm thinking I'll just ask for the manager before she rings out the next customer who was in line. She immediately walks away and heads to the "return" section and I'm standing there dumbfounded.
I couldn't believe what just happened. Never took the time to write any reviews before and have been going to the store since it opened. This is a good location for Undercover Boss.
