Gold Series Refrigerator - Complaint
We purchased a new Whirlpool french door refrigerator with ice maker two years ago. it worked fine for the first six months. Since then we have had two repairs under warranty, and several other problems not covered by warranty. The control panel on the front has been replaced once. It continues to act sporadic. The ice maker jam about once a month. It has been repaired under warranty once and continues to jam. I have had to call the service tech out one other time to get the tray out. It currently is jammed and I'm looking at another service call because the tray will not release. We thought we were spending more to get a better product. I would not recommend this unit. Save you money and purchase a less expensive brand.
