Return Policy Scam at Target
Video Game - MLB 2K12 for Playstaion 3 - Complaint
MANTECA, CA, CALIFORNIA -- I came in to purchase a video game. Target was out of stock and once relalizin this, one of the store employees, Daniel, gave me his very strong opinion about another video game. So I then purchased that game and after that playing it one time for not even 30 minutes, I realized it was one of the worst games I have EVER played. When I went to exchange the game, Target informs me they cannot exchange me the game or refund me my money. I feel like I was steered int he wrong direction and I also feel that their return policy is unfair and not right because it is a lot of money to spend to find out the game is terrible and I wasted $65.00 based on a store employees opinion. I feel these stores employees should not be giving their opinions if they are not experts or have their credentials in that particular field, in this case, electronics. I feel there should be some way I should get my money back or exchange it for another game. Their return policy is backed up by a "copy right infringement law". However, some sort of exchange policy should be implimented to serve customers who are truly unhappy and disappointed with their purchase. Further more, my experience with management and store employees was very poor. They made me feel like I was some kind of criminal and that they thought they could just walk all over me. The people who were no help were store employee Daniel and the head manager who was working Friday night until closing.
