Bad, Bad, CVS brand Calcium
Calcium + D
CVS keeps rejecting my on-line review on their product - I will not praise it. The are 3 types of Calcium you'll find in markets: calcium Carbonate, Malatate, and Citrate. Calcium carbonate is the most common on shelves. Each person is different; so, if you need extra calcium, experiment to find a type that works well for you.
I tried the CVS calcium (carbonate) + D; unfortunately, it did not absorb well in me. I had several side-effects from it. I bought it because of the quantity of tablets in the container (200+). I was taking Nature's Bounty softcaps before, this was also calcium carbonate, but I had no side effects at all. I did not see the same brand in CVS when I needed more calcium, so I tried the CVS brand; ugh! Never again. Rainbow Light Daily One calcium is a mixture of carbonate and malatate, it absorbed well, but only one store in my area sells it. I now take calcium citrate that is also good; and, much cheaper than Rainbow Light.
