Priceline.com - False Advertising!
Hotel - Complaint
INTERNET, TEXAS -- I purchased 3 days in an NYC hotel. Priceline advertised there was "free parking." This was a substantial selling point, because parking is expensive in NYC. I received the email itinerary and lo and behold, parking is 27 dollars a day! Five days later and 5 Priceline representatives telling me bold-faced lies: "We couldn't reach the hotel" (when I spoke to the Days Inn representative who spoke to Priceline!)
"Its not advertised on our website like that" (when I printed out the sheet that said "free parking") "there is no history of modification to that web ad" (when a Priceline representative thanked me for bringing it to their attention so they could remove it from their site!) Eventually, I reached their Revenue Director, who happens to be an angry, volatile woman, and she FINALLY agreed to waive the"cancellation fees" (which is the price of the hotel) because I told her Days Inn wasn't charging us, it would all go into Priceline's pocket. Never again!
