Virgin Mobile - Complaint
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- After buying and using a Samsung cell phone for about three weeks, I returned to the original store with the receipt of purchase and the phone. I told the store manager that the phone was getting hot and that I wanted a different phone. I was told that it was a 3rd party product that Radio Shack sold and that I needed to contact Virgin mobile if I was having problems with the phone they would take care of it. I could not trade the phone because it was activated to me and I have already used airtime on it. So I contacted Virgin mobile who sent a replacement phone.
The replacement had the same problem/ overheating in my hand so I can't hold it comfortably and launcing numerous applications in the background sucking battery life while I'm not even using the phone. So Virgin said it was a battery problem and sent me a new battery. And I continued to have the same problems. So this was now 5-6 weeks after I bought the original phone from Radio Shack I returned to the store nad told the store manager Crystal Adams what had transpired and her reply was "sorry to her that but there is nothing Radio Shack is willing to do to solve the constant problems with a product you bought from this store"
Well I sent the second phone back to Virgin who in turn sent me a third replacement. And guess what? It overheats too and runs background apps sucking battery life...........
