Lowe's Informative - Policy Issue Resolved
MADISON, TENNESSEE -- A few weeks ago I listed a complaint on this site regarding an issue my husband and I were having with Lowes regarding how they determined the amount of square footage to charge customers for on a flooring installation. Our issue has been resolved by contacting the regional vice president of Lowes. I would like to let anyone who is considering or who has had Lowes install any flooring in your home that when you return the extra supplies they order for you, you are also supposed to get some part of the extra labor refunded. For instance, if you have 100sqft of space they will order supplies and charge you labor for 110sqft. When you bring the leftover supplies they are supposed to give you a corresponding percentage of the labor back. The store (Madison, TN) we were shopping at didn't know this, so you may have to argue. But that is the way they are supposed handle the transaction. Our situation was resolved to our satisfaction.
