Ashley Furniture - Poor Quality of Furniture
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- I purchased a sectional from Ashley Furniture on 11-12-2010, The couch as well as the love seat has started to fade in certain areas, the seams are coming apart (keep inmind that this is suppose to be leather furniture) the handle which makes the seat recline inside the couch is causing a tear in the cushion part of the couch. When contacted for assistance I was informed that the warranty had expired. Even though the warranty was for only a year, the couch and the love seat should not have started to fade and seperate at the seams . Ashley Furniture did not care that this happened to their perfectly manufactured well quality furniture even after requesting that I send pictures of the damages, which I did, they stated that there was nothing they could do. I know there are a lot of other purchasers who feel the same way. We all need to stand together and let other customers as well as the media, better business bureau and the consumer complaint agency know the type of problems that we are or have experienced with the shabby service received from Ashley Furniture. I am going to pursue this to the end, Ashley have not heard the last of me.
