Taco Bell Complaint - Counter persons wearing filthy uniforms/clothing
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, LOUISIANA -- I travel an average 1,100 miles per week by car so fast-food, especially Taco Bell, is part of my daily diet. I have been disgusted the past few months by the filthy clothing worn at the order counter by even the manager (recently Taco Bell on Airline Drive in Bossier City, LA). The manager came up to the counter to resolve a problem on a computer-register with a customer's order. He wore a filthy jacket that looked like it had never been washed in 5 years and a filthier ball cap. I looked around and all the employees were slovenly and their clothing/uniforms looked soiled, and not from food. They looked like they were worn way too many times without ever being washed.
The impression is they probably change into their uniforms or work clothes at work and then change out and leave them there at the end of their shifts.
My husband and I left and did not order anything. I lost my appetite.
What is really horrible, is down the street at Popeye's Fried Chicken I saw small roaches (2) crawling up the side of the metal food holding/serving are where the hot foods are kept warm and the filth on the floor looked like it had been collecting for several days.
At McDonalds I watched as a young woman combed her hair in the mirror backing over the french fries and copped an attitude when I interrupted her to ask for service. I lost my appetite there and left also.
Who is managing these places?
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Hire people that take their jobs more seriously. Whatever happened to 'Striving For Excellence'?
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
