I have had the phone for 2 months with an sd card that I have been saving irreplaceable pictures on for over two years. I shut my phone off went to bed (as usual) and when I woke up and turned it on everything (contacts list, pictures, ringtones, ect.) was erased! I am so furious! This should never have happened!!!! This phone was not cheap and my pics can never be replaced!!!!

I usually store documents (or copies of) that are irreplaceble in more than one place.

Irreplaceable pictures saved in only one place electronically is pretty risky. What if the phone were stolen or lost?

It's really unfortunate that this happened. It would be interesting to know what the cause was.

I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope you get the problem that caused it solved. But lesson learned, never store anything electronic that is valuable or irreplaceable only in one place. There is always a risk it will be damaged, lost, or otherwise destroyed. Always make a backup copy or even two and store in separate places.
