ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have been a customer with this bank for a few years. This bank nickels and dimes all there customers.. They charge me three times on the same overdraft $35.00.. And still returned the hundred dollars. They have taken so much money from me because of two checks. One for there privacy act plan that I tried to cancel three time for $ 8.99 and a check for $ 100 they charge one over draft of $35.00 then three days later extended overdraft again for $35.00 and ten dollars for a return check fee.. Then return both they try automatically withdraws thirty five on both twice again. Now I owe them $230 in overdraft..

Yes, that sounds like what is becoming typical. Banks do try multiple times to make a debit, because the assumption is the account holder will notice the shortfall and correct it, and want the original item (check, auto withdrawal) to be paid.
