2 12 pks of Winn Dixie soda tasted terrible and had to be poured down the sink.

ST PETERSBURG, FLORIDA -- All I can say is somehow the soda went bad. It tasted like bitter seltzer and there was absolutely no sweetness or cola taste. It reminder me of the fountain drinks of the old days when the machine needed to be serviced, At least in that case they would take care of it right then.

I hope this provides you with a way to avoid however this happened. Sincerely, Fran

Im sure there was some sort of mistake. Instead of pouring them down the sink you should have taken them back to winn dixie. Im sure they whould have at least given you a replacement or your money back.

Being diet cola, it could possibly be old, expired stock. I don't know offhand if Winn-Dixie's store brand sodas have expiration dates on the packaging, like Coke and Pepsi. Aspartame tends to break down a few months past a diet soda's expiration date, which is why diet sodas are shorter-dated than sugared sodas.

call the contact number on the can and explain what the soda was like. often times the manufacturer will send you coupons for free products!!

Being that you were in St Petersburg, FL, you should have gave it to the panhandlers.
