Stream Energy Electricity - Charged Me THREE Times and Then Laughed at Me.
Electricity. - Complaint
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Stream Energy charged my bank account THREE times $190.88 and over drafted my bank account. When I called to see what happened I was told it would be 3 business days before I could get my money. Money that I needed to pay rent.
Four business days went by and nothing had changed in my bank account. I called back and spoke to three reps. The first guy told me that it was credited back to my LIGHT ACCT and not my bank. Duh! I told him that thats not what I had been told and that I needed my money back. He told me it would be in my bank account in 3 more business days. I asked to speak to his supervisor.
George his super got on the phone and had no idea what was going on. I had to explain it all over again. Once I told him I couldn't pay my rent, he proceeded to laugh at me. Are you serious?! He never apologized for laughing at me and then told me I could have my money back in 4 weeks. You can't be serious?!
So because STREAM messed up, not only is it impossible for me to pay my rent and other bills, but I get disrespected, deceived, and to top it off laughed at?!
I asked to speak to George's super. Joseph came on and knew what was going on so I didn't need to explain. I told him how disrespected I felt and how ridicoulous is was that I was being treated like a criminal when they had messed up. He apologized and told me he would have my money plus over draft fees back in my account in 3 more business days. We'll see how it goes.
If I could get out of my contract without giving them more of MY money, I would. This isn't the first time I've been treated so poorly from this company.
They really need to work on their people skills. Not to mention, if it wasn't for the customers, they would be out of business.
