CINCINNATI, OHIO -- I have been a customer of La Rosa's since 1954 and have never received worst service anywhere then we did last night at La Rosa's in Greendale, Indiana. I have never written anything like this but I feel Buddy La Rosa would want to hear this. We ordered dinner (five of us) all had ice tea that was never refilled. We could never find our waitress and had to keep asking other waitresses to have her come to the table. That didn't do any good. We ordered desert and again had to wait over twenty five minutes to receive it and that was only after we contacted the manager. We ordered coffee and again had the same experience, a long wait and never asked if we wanted a refill. We talked to the manager when leaving but he didn't seem to care very much. We usually leave a five dollar tip each but this time left two dollars each along with a note on the receipt. We will continue to eat at La Rosa's but NEVER AGAIN at La Rosa's in Greendale, Indiana.

You may want to let La Rosa's corporate office (2334 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238-3492) know that they have a problem at this franchise location via http://www.larosas.com/contact/contact-larosas.aspx or by calling (877) 347-1111 or (513) 347-3492.

You were extremely generous with your tip. I, personally, would have left a nickel. The 5 cent tip would have let the waitress know that you just didn't forget to tip. To me, a tip is for the service the waitress gives and if it was that bad she didn't deserve anything. I would also go back to the same LaRosa's but refuse to have that waitress as my server. This way you are not inconvenienced by having to go to another town.

oldisgood - the OP said the manager didn't care. My vote would be with my feet, but each person is different. That's what makes this wacky world so delightful.
