LA Furniture Store - Two Horrible Experiences With Two Purchases at This Store. Stay Away!
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- This furniture store is HORRIBLE. I ordered a special order couch from them in store (they have a store/show room in West Pavilion Mall) and it took three months for me to receive it. I was told at the time of sale that it should arrive in 4-6 weeks! When I receive it, the corner table's glass is broken and couple of headrest pillows are in wrong colors. Before I receive the couch, the sales person who sold the couch to me and was supposed to handle questions and check order status never returned my phone calls. I had to call their customer service line and the line is often not picked up, busy, or completely down.
When there are people handling phone calls, they never once apologized for the delay and they gave me inconsistent order status and messages. This store seems to have no desire to keep customers coming back. They simply don't care. It is also impossible to reach managers. I also ordered a coffee table online (in stock in the LA warehouse) and it was delivered. Unfortunately it does not go with the couch. The drivers who delivered the item took away the original package. When I called the customer service for return/exchange of the coffee table, they refused to return/exchange it for me because I don't have the original package. Note that the coffee table is $400 and the couch is $2600, both expensive items.
For a store that sells expensive furniture, the customer service is the worst I have ever seen! I will never buy from them again and I'll tell everyone who's looking never to consider them. It's a nightmare.
