TUCSON, ARIZONA -- I have a very bad back, spine and hip. I tried to make an appointment for the only pain Dr they have and they stalled me since April to get an appointment as since he is the only Dr for pain. This insurance company would not let me see the Dr I had on my Healthnet so I have waited 3 months to see this Dr.

Also they only have one office which is on the east side and I live Northwest and have to drive 30 to 45 minutes to even see A PEDIATRIST I am a diabetic and the only reason I changed Insurance so I had to go on my own to see a Dr in my area and pay the $100.00 dollars for the appointment. What a mess, don't get this insurance unless you want no choice and live on the East side

It sounds like you have a managed care policy with this company which does, as you point out, limit your options to doctors who participate in their network. It's a trade off, particularly when it concerns pain management which can be very expensive: A long, inconvenient drive versus affordable care. I hope they at least find a way to alleviate your pain.
