MILTON, FLORIDA -- My car was recently totaled and had to find a used car to replace it. I stopped in to ask about a price of a car they had at Lou Sobh Chevrolet. I asked that they please give me the lowest price they were able to sell it for since the insurance money I got for my car would never cover a replacement and my out of pocket expense was very limited.

I had the misfortune of having to deal with someone that couldn't understand the question. I told him the price I was trying to stay close to and didn't want to waste their time or mine if it was something I couldn't afford. I told him there were other cars similar to the one he had, but was in the next town. He told me that he had an app that told him there were no other in the area as though I was lying! When I informed him where at least 2 more were located he first checked it out and told me to go there to buy the car.

I will at least admit that he gave me good advice in that department. He also talked down to the extremely nice and helpful young salesman(James) that had been assisting me. I found that to be so disrespectful and totally uncalled for since he was only asking him to do what I had requested. If you do decide to go and give this place a try be sure and ask for James, Mike or Dan. At least they know how to talk to a customer and take the time to listen to what you actually want to say instead of guessing as Ned did!!! I can now check this dealer off my list when I go for my new car!!!!! You may want to look at the other reviews on this dealership before you buy!!!!

If they send you out the door to buy elsewhere, it means you didn't offer enough to make the sale profitable. There is no need for rudeness in the process.

If my price is fixed, I tell the salesperson what I am willing to pay. Asking a car dealer to give you their lowest price is a different strategy.
