NASHVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS -- I booked 2 rooms 4 months in advance and was excited to be staying in a 4-5 star resort. Well let me tell you....although when we booked they said we would have a view etc..we got there and we were in wing D floor 0 and let me tell you they did not vaccum at all, trash was left in hallway for days and in the adjoining room the roll of toilet paper had what looked like dried blood on it. the Cleaners left my door ajar one day which was a security breech in itself and the only compensation we got was $50.00 off the 5 night stay! The management staff could have cared less about us common folk who work hard for our money...I would never stay with a Gaylord Company again.

$50 off for the items you mentioned seems like reasonable compensation, but it's hard to know without having been there. I'd expect a little better attention to detail as well - I'm glad they gave you a discount and maybe they will improve.

i have stayed in several gaylord resorts. i have always found them upstanding, and do uphold their 4/5 star status.

Probably the Gaylord Opryland in Tn. Might have just checked the wrong pull down for the state. Gaylord sounds like a real dump, thanks for the heads up.

Good review, voted it as such.
