Right Source Prescriptions/Humana - Total Lack Caring
Order and Delivery of Prescription Drug - Complaint
BY PHONE -- This is regarding my husband's heart medication (he has chest pains without it, could cause heart attack): Dr.'s office sent in prescription correctly and has verification # on file. Right Source only sent a 30 day supply (not the 90 day as prescribed).
When I called (total of hours on the phone)to find out the problem and receive the remainder of the prescriptions I was told it was too early to re-order. After calling back and forth (from Right source and the Doctior's office) I was lied to by each person(3)I spoke to from 7/9/12 to 7/15/12, each person stating prescription was released for shipment and then the next person stating it was not released for shipment.
I was also told (l person on 7/14/12) payment was an issue (with a credit card I have used for over 20 years and have never paid a penny of interest nor ever had a problem). When I finally(after asking from day one) for a supervisor, the fourth person(supervisor)gave me inaccurate information (per Humana). I had also asked how to file a complaint but no one would give me an answer.
My husband was out of his heart medication due to their error but they did nothing to correct this until 7/15/12. I was told they would override the prescription to Walmart pharmacy to provide a week's supply until the drug was received and there would be N/C (this was repeated to me at least 3 x's).
I went to Walmart to pick up the drug and was charged $11.00. I feel their staff was inept and was told by the supervisor that this would be taken care of. I also asked for verification but know this will never happen.
The order was released 7/15/12 and received the next day. Payment was charged to my credit card 7/14/14/12 and was told by my credit card company there was never a problem. Orders do not have to take 5 to 10 working days as told to me by their staff.
