Wheel Alignment - Complaint

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I brought my wife's Rav 4 in this morning to have the wheels aligned. We have a 3 year alignment package with both of our vehicles. The cat was dropped off a little before 9am and the manager Tom, told me the car would be done within an hour. He stated they would call the number we confirmed on file.

4 hours later I called and sure enough the car was ready. The person on the phone, Jim, said they were really busy and "so sorry." When I got there to pick up vehicle the manager was not there. I asked to have him call me and reiterated that request. This was a little after 1pm.

It is now 4:50pm and still no callback.

This has happened before, it is no wonder why I have seen so much staff change at this location in my 11 years in Charleston. Some people actually BELIEVE them when they give an estimated time of work completion. Imagine that!

Once my alignment packages expire, I will not be returning. There are far too many choices in the area.

I think you omitted a word, and meant to say "sure enough the car was [not] ready".

No doubt about it, this is poor customer service.

Are you upset because the personnel didn't call you to let you know it was ready? Sometimes it just gets really busy. I understand. I have to take care of the people in front of me first, before I deal with the phone.
