POINT PLEASANT, NEW JERSEY -- I brought a car into AAMCO in Point Pleasant and was diagnosed as a problem with the torque converter. The estimate was originally about $2,200. It was soon $3,000 and eventually came in at $3,200. When I complained they offered to give me the car back with the remaining parts not installed.
They are thieves.
