DirecTV Dish, Service and Installation - Complaint
TEXAS -- I've had direcTV for 3 months, and constantly get a pixelated picture, and garbled sound. I was hung up on twice while trying to schedule someone to come out and fix. I was then told that I would have to pay for them to come out and fix the 3-MONTH old equipment. 3 Months! That they are not responsible for installation, cables or the dish. (Seems you need all those things, not just a received, to get the service.)
One of their own reps said it was probably loose on the roof for my problems to happen. Naturally, they won't take responsibility for their installation and won't come out unless I pay them even more. And they keep trying to sell me a protection plan. Says a lot about them. They are used to selling faulty equipment and using substandard installers, evidently.
