Witt Lincoln - Mistreated and Misinformed Result Lost Service Contract
Mercury Milan Premier 2009 - Complaint
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- First, I have been a loyal Witt Lincoln Client for 12 years. I have leased and purchased four separate vehicles with Witt. Up until this past March, during a negotiation on a New Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, I was happy with their service and advice.
What happened in March was very disappointing. During a trade evaluation, A manager, BOB, explained to me that he thought I was a "Drug Addict Dirt Bag". That really went over my head at the time of it happening, but I later thought what the hell is he talking about. I am a sober alcoholic with 18 and 1/2 years of continuous sobriety, so this hit home with me. I was trying to trade my 2006 Corvette in on the MKZ but we could not come to an agreement.
I found out that Ford Motor Credit mess me up. I called a month earlier to Ford Credit and asked for a two month skip on payment for the Milan, due to a financial issue. They agreed and granted it. I sent the paperwork on the skip, to Ford Motor credit, by fax. Later, when we were doing the negotiations on the MKZ, I found out that Ford never got the Paperwork and dinged my credit with that 30 late payment due. When I called FMCredit, they calmly explained that I was, out of luck and they couldn't do anything about it. Maybe this was the reason that BOB called me a dirt bag drug addict, any way I was upset.
The result was no new car with Ford this year.
The big complain I have is however the result of yesterday's service call with Witt. I got there at 7:45 am to have my last service on my Milan. This service was paid for in my contract. The service writer Lybia, who I've known for 12 years, tells me that my contract expired on July 15, ten days ago. I was furious. They never called, wrote or explained that at anytime and now I am out a very costly main 40,000 mile service by ten days. So... I am complaining about all of this.
I am done with Witt, Ford and their whole staff. They have lied to me, kept me in the dark and have treated me with disrespect and I am done.
I really don't want to bring lawyers into this, that's too costly. I believe small claims court is an avenue but I am lost on what action to take so I am going to complain. If this action does not get resolved, I'll do what ever it takes to be heard.
Ford, Lincoln and everybody there has lost a loyal devoted client. Forever!!!
