SunTrust - typical mega-Corp., terrible service

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- As a regrettably long-time customer of SunTrust, all I can say is that my trust in this business dwindled to 0 during my time as a customer. I highly recommend to anyone considering opening an account - don't! You'll regret it.
I couldn't possibly recount all the snafu's / errors, etc. that I've experienced in 10 years or so. All I can say is that it's just another business that a) seems to place a premium on hiring the marginally competent, and b) institutes policies designed to maximize their profit and minimize the prospect of providing reasonable customer service.
If you've recently made the mistake of opening an account with them, my advice is "Leave and don't look back."
By the way, I couldn't be happier with my new bank -- not a mega-conglomerate, and a bank that actually provides customer service. What a quaint idea in 21st century America! But such businesses still exist.
