Robert Is Here - Bad Customer Service

HOMESTEAD, FLORIDA -- The owner Robert is very arrogant and racist. We have been there more than 10 times and almost every time he has picked on me and my family. His store sells locally grown fruits and vegetables. If my child touches anything and may be drops the produce, he makes sure we buy it and not put it back. I do not have a problem with him suggesting that I buy the produce, but he can be polite when he talks to us. Moreover, I have not seen him do that to other families.

One time I walked up to him and to suggest to build a bathroom in the store and he mentioned he does not have to. Moreover he said "I am right and you are wrong and there is nothing to argue." and he walked away from me when I was still talking.

From the looks of the RobertIsHere website, Robert has a well stocked and neat establishment. My guess is he has a very successful business, though he may be feeling a pinch this year amidst the drought.

If produce is dropped on the floor or ground by children, I could see under the right circumstances holding the guardian accountable.

I see no evidence of racism in your complaint - could you provide additional details?

You've been there more than 10 times and nearly every time is a bad experience? Why keep going? I'm all for shopping local, but that's ridiculous. By the by, if you know he doesn't like it when your (or anyone else's) children handles/drops the produce, perhaps you should make sure your child doesn't do it.
