NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Bank of America on Lenox & 117th street in Ny, worst customer service. I have gone here on numerous occasions & it's always same story whether they are busy or not, they make you wait. The last time I had something notarized it took 60 minutes.....ridiculous. No one is in a hurry to help you, & it's very obvious.

Well you do have the option of scheduling the service and getting it fast and with a bill.
I understand it is frustrating, but walking into a bank that does free notary - means you play by their rules. And it seems one of those rules is make you wait. You can always go somewhere else right?

Most places of business have one notary on staff. This, of course, would be a business that notarizes documents for their customers only and at no charge. Many won't for individuals off the street. The Notary Public usually has other duties to perform rather than just notarizing documents. Call ahead and ask if there will be a wait time without an appointment. There are many places that will notarize for a charge if you are in a rush.
