DISH - No Customer Service
ATHENS, OHIO -- I've had DISH TV service for about ten years, never late on a payment, do not complain, and have had very few service calls. After my neighbor's horses ran through my yard and damaged my dish, I called for an appointment to get it fixed. I was told it would be a month! They can't fit me in to replace or repair my dish for a month?
That is no television for a month, I don't think so. I am retired and television is my main form of entertainment, I cannot and will not wait for a month to have my television. I think if they, the company would spend more money on customer service and repair, less on advertising how much money they save you and how great the company is, they would find a lot more satisfied customers.
I plan to call DirecTV Monday morning and see what kind of service record they have. You can save money all the time, but without some kind of repair service, what good it it? No, without maintenance, there is no service, and I see DirecTV has repair centers everywhere, DISH, very few, guess it saves them money. Before you sign up, ask about repair/maintenance, it may take a lot longer than you're comfortable with.
