Nissan Requests Car Data Usage--15000 Times!

Nissan Leaf - Complaint

TENNESSEE -- Every time the car is started, Nissan requests on the GPS screen permission for them to wirelessly transmit information from the car for Nissan's use for product evaluation, etc. This request will remain on the screen until a button is selected. I have no objection for Nissan to use this information. I do object, however, to their requesting this EVERY time the car is started! I estimate that request will be made 10,000 to 15,000 times during my ownership of the car!!!

I know that others also don't like this--who would? Nissan is able to input computer changes, they could choose to correct this problem by adding a selection button on the screen to HOLD that decision for a day, or week, or month, and don't ask that question again for that period. That would solve the problem. I have requested from Nissan Corporation that they eliminate this annoyance for their customers, but it appears that they choose not to do so.
