Shuttle, Customer Service - Complaint
SEA-TAC, WASHINGTON -- I was expecting something simple and low-key for the price, but I was not expecting the surroundings to feel so dangerous, most of the machines to be depleted and out of order (and not giving money back), the halls to smell like marijuana at all hours, the police to be on the property, and to be given inaccurate information regarding the shuttle. The help desk is advertised as 24 hours, yet the person who attends it also does the hourly shuttle and on-site repairs. I was late getting to the airport, the 2 different people involved gave 2 different instructions for reserving and using the shuttle, and there was no-one there to answer the phone, the bell, or my knocking to solve the problem.....instead I just waited, hoping someone would show up and get me to the airport on time. I was then told I would be picked up at 7:30am from the airport after dropping my kids off; I was not picked up at 8:40. I had to call twice, no-one showed any empathy, or accountability for my sitting on a bench outside where I was told to go either. I was told my driver was fixing a toilet instead. The first man at the desk when I arrived was polite, even though the hotel was out of everything, but everyone else in the hotel had an attitude of someone who could care less.
