Fred Meyer - Customer Service Counter Lacks Customer Service

THE DALLES, OREGON -- This morning (and usually everyday) at 8 am The Dalles Customer Service Center really lacked the "customer service." One employee. 25 mins. A line 4 deep. No common sense to call for assistance. 5 other employees walked in and out of the area and ignored the line. 2 other customers got in line behind me that left! One even made the comment "customer service clearly isn't their priority" before leaving! Said it in front of the manager who finally came to help, who took his time opening up his station and was a petulant, rude child!
Thanks for nothing PETER!!! While standing in line, I even tried to call the store to ask for assistance myself since the employee would not. But of course it rang straight to the desk where it was ignored by the employee. I do all of my shopping at The Dalles Fed Meyer. I give high marks to all of the employees in the meat and produce department and I love Jeni who is usually at self-checkout. I get great service from all of them! But today I was so mad after my experience I just returned my item, walked out and did my shopping at Safeway
