Providing a Satisfaction of Mortgage When They Refinance a Loan - Complaint

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- The BOA has been dragging their feet for over a month on giving a Satisfaction of mortgage. The say they see that it was satisfied, but we need that Satifaction to close today, Aug 7, 2012. My Closer has faxed them all the proper paperwork at least 5 times, they then request it again.

How can a bank get away with this? BOA is who presently holds the mortgage for my client, they refinanced it for them, wouldn't they have had to give a satisfaction to put the new mortgage on the property.

What a farce this has been, anyone looking to place a mortgage should never use BOA, they are inept and should be fined for the way they operate, but of course the banks think they can get away with anything. They caused a lot of the real estate problems, but do nothing to solve the problems.
