Airfare - Complaint
I booked one day and on the next I canceled, which was within the graceperiod. I called 2 weeks later because refund was not back on my card (which they told me if would be in 5 days).
The sales agent was not helpful, in fact I found out today that she gave me the complete wrong information, which has caused me time, a headache, and most of all MONEY. An issue of a refund she ASSURED me was taken care of in fact I found out that it was not, the refund had not yet been applied. She put me on hold for about 15 just to come back and say that she was unsure of why it wasn't showing up. After putting me on hold a second time, she came back and said a refund would be issued within 5 days. She sounded completely unsure of her answer but gave it to me anyway (BAD SERVICE). If I would have listened to my instinct, I would have called back and spoke to someone else more knowledgeable, but that's the thing, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TOO, ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE GIVING THE RIGHT INFO, THE FIRST TIME.
I am totally disatisfied, and honestly disappointed in Orbitz, will do my best to make sure that family, friends, colleagues WILL NOT BOOK WITH THEM, lest they end up with many problems in the long run....
