Lou Sobh in Conyers, Georgia Informative - repair cause more trouble

Review by chacha73 on 2005-12-12
CONYERS, GEORGIA -- I took my car to Lou Sobh for a fan noise at 8am that morning. By 12:00 that afternoon, they had not looked at my car. At 3:00 I called and was told that the fan clutch had gone bad and needed to be replaced and it will cost approximately $800. I agreed for them to fix. Not 2 days later after getting my car back, the speedometer goes out. Now, we are talking about another $700. GMC stinks. I do not plan to buy another GM car.

Who exactly are we complaining about here? GM or the mechanic? Are you telling us the fan clutch repair broke your speedometer? If not, why even drag the mechanic through the mud for a GM problem. If it was the mechanic's fault, why slam GM? Pick a side!

I got to agree with you Ken. We're seeing a lot of lame complaints on here lately.

Agree with Ken. Why even file this complaint under the repair center. They fixed the car so what did they due to have their name brought into it?

OK, fan clutch and assembly are nowhere near the speedo cable. 99.9% chance mechanic had nothing to do with speedometer failure.
