T-Mobile gives up on customer friendly service
Poor phone reception and incoming calls dropped, text messages dropped - Complaint
WASHINGTON -- I have been a loyal customer for over 9 years with 3 lines and now 4 including data plans. Prior to T-Mobile's attempt to be merged with AT & T the customer service was good. However, the number of calls dropped by my phone for incomning calls, and my inability to have clear reception has become unbearable. I must rely on being near a land line at my location to always call people back on a clear phone. Lately, my phone is not retaining texts or phone numbers so that I have difficulty knowing who called and returning their calls. Texts and emails are cleared from the cache more frequently despite the fact that I have purchased more memory and gotten a new SIM card. I have worked with the tech support to reset my phone and all other mechanizations for hours and weeks, but the problem remains. The last ploy was to have the engineers check the towers in the area. No supervisor or representative ever returned a call to let me know the status. The only response I have received has been from the corporate office after I contacted the BBB.
Essentially, T-Mobile has insulted my integrity by suggesting my phone is not dropping calls as I have enumerated to them and that service is fine in my area. I loved the size and fit of my Blackberry and will be sad to
discontinue its use. However, the inconvenience of not being able to make calls in my home arena except in key spots and the inevitable dropped outcoming and incoming calls is also becoming too costly in time, energy and lost revenue. T-Mobile is not honoring my value as a long time client despite poor service for a period of time. I am asking to be released from our contract without penalty. The inconsistency in the service poses a threat in an emergency. T-Mobile corporate has refused. I feel compelled to warn others not to be lured by any headset or other offers as the company, T-Mobile no longer values the customer no matter the spiel the reps are programmed to say. Their customer service is a charade to keep you suspended while they continue to bill you and make no adjustments for poor service. You are just a number.
