JC Penney - Connecting the Dots...
GEORGIA -- I read the analysis of JCPenney's drop in sales. The reason given was the new pricing strategy.. "Everyday Low Prices", doing away with the "70% Off" type strategy.
There was a one or two sentence paragraph about advertising changes, using "kids, dogs and bright colors." Nothing was said about Ms. DeGeneres and the Gay emphasis as seen on the Mother's Day and Father's Day Ads.
Has anyone at JCP considered that this long standing American Fixture Retail Store, has alienated many of it's former customers? I just feel like there are some dots that are not being connected at JCP.
