Ikea - Horrible Customer Service
Installing an Ikea medicine cabinet - Complaint
PORTLAND, OREGON -- I was having difficulty with the instructions provided for assembling and mounting an Ikea medicine cabinet. In the instructions it says to call Ikea if you are having problems. I made 4 different calls to the store I purchased it at, (503) 282-IKEA (4532) looking for help with the product. The first two I lost connection after about 30 minutes of waiting on hold. The third call lasted about an hour on hold before I gave up. The last call was at 2 hours and 21 minutes when I finally gave up. I went online to chat with Ikea. They said this was available if they could not be reached by phone. I checked throughout the day and was never able to get chat site. There recommendation was to email and get a response in 5 days.
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
