Hydroderm Complaint - Poor company needs to go !
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA -- I can't believe how companies will rip us off!!! I sent for a trial of HYDRODERM skin care thinking it was the greatest product on earth. I printed out the terms and conditions and read them carefully. When I received the product I started using it as they suggested and did not notice even a small change in my skin (i'm 55 and have wrinkles) Thinking I would give it the benefit of the doubt I used it completely...nothing! So still within the trial period I sent email and also called them and cancelled. Thinking I was through with it, I threw it all away (papers, containers, etc). Three weeks later I notice a $69.00 debit on my card from HYDRODERM so I politely called them to clarify it and they told me (very rudely) that because I did not send back the EMPTY CONTAINERS (unused portion) that I was charged the $69. !!! I disagreed with them, stating that no where in the terms and conditions nor when I called to cancel was I told (or read) that I needed to send empty containers back (and pay the shipping myself).
I couldn't believe it !! Who in their right mind would think to do that. They also told me that I only cancelled one day prior to my trial ending and I know it was 8 days ! In other words, I believe that this company is run by crooks that just do what they need to do to get what money they can. If the product had been good I wouldn't be so angry, or if they were going to send me more product to continue trying for that $69.00, I wouldn't feel SO screwed ! What do you all think about that ?? Am I wrong?? Is an empty bottle of liquid and an empty jar of moisturizer "unused product" or not???
