Sears Is Slow!!
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Called for Warranty Service I paid for at time of purchase (they did not have to wait for me to pay) I was on hold for 10 minutes for Rep and took total of 20 minutes to get appointment since I had to go doen and diargnose on phone what may be the problem. Plus I had to stand on my 79 yr old head to get model nunmber they don't have that.
Needs new control panel (what color is it? they don't know)and to order one it takes 10 days (I can get parts from NY City to Dallas overnight by Greyhound Bus =- done it before) and then my first available dat to get a man and the part is 13 days lateer.
i toldhim to have Tech bring pair of rubber gloves sor my wifes hand since she had to do dishes for 13 days or have him bring $200 so I can take her out to eat and no dishess. He laughed knowing they were not too great on service.
This is definitely not the Sears I started my life with in 1950 so they may well have sold me my last appliance etc!!!
