NIAGARA FALLS CANADA -- This is the worst supposedly high class hotel I have ever been in. If you have time read on.
Strike 1.
We did not arrive until a little after 8pm and with 3 very tired small children in tow. One of the valets had the nerve to give my son-in-law a hard time about how long we intended to leave our cars in the parking lot that is specifically reserved for people checking into the hotel!!!!
Strike 2 & 3.
Our reservations were made weeks in advance and they could not accommodate our request for adjacent rooms. In my opinion they didn't even try!!
We decided due to our circumstances that we would use their valet parking. The girl checking us in tried to charge us for 2 days @$30/day. And it was after 8:30pm by now and we would only be staying overnight!!!
Strike 4.
My wife decided to take a shower before dinner. Only to find as she came out that the towels in the room were small hand towels!!!
Strike 5.
We decided bc of the lateness and the kids being tired to eat in the hotel rest. buffet. In all fairness the food was delicious. However for $35
per person I found the selection items to be very inferior.
Strike 6.
The hotel has a bank of 8 elevators. 6 of which I believe serve all floors. I still found myself waiting for 4-5 min for one to arrive.
Strike 7.
Upon arriving on our floor we stepped off the elevator to the very distinct smell of someone smoking pot somewhere nearby!!
Not the hotels fault but when my daughter called the desk They sent NO ONE to investigate!!!
Strike 8
The next day at check out time we decided to put all our luggage into our daughter's car for the day. Again one of the valets gave us a hard time for taking to long in the parking lot.
