Priceline - Unfair Refund Policy
Hotel - Complaint
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- Tried to check into a Days Inn in West Palm Beach on July 29th for two nights. When I got to the hotel the asst gen mgr asked for my driver's license and my credit card.
After I gave him these items he photocopied my driver's license and he imprinted my card on the same piece of paper with my full credit card number and exp date. When I asked him why he did that he said was hotel policy. When I asked him what happens to the my information
after I check out he said it was kept on file at the hotel. This policy was not in writing at the hotel or on pricelines website.
I got my personal info back and called Days Inn Corp to file a complaint. After I was charged by Price Line for a room I never checked-in to they would not refund my money even though no where in their cancellation policy does it state you must leave this kind of sensitive information behind after you check out and put your credit and identity at risk just to check in.
Any one that does business with Priceline will get burn sooner than later. They have no customer service dept just people who tell you over and over NO REFUNDS, NO REFUNDS NO REFUNDS!!!
