Customer Service - Compliment
EASTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have had a few issues in the past several months as a customer of this store (#6330), including a product that mysteriously stopped being stocked and then a product whose quality was not up to par.
In the first matter, various assistant managers listened to my complaint over a period of 5 months and said that they would look into it. The problem was temporarily solved at one point, but for unknown reasons the "fix" didn't stick.
I met store GM Jerry T a few months back, and explained my frustration in not arriving at a resolution. Jerry said he would look into it. The next day, I received a call from Jerry, indicating that he felt he had resolved it. In fact he had, and I have reliably been able to find that product on the shelf ever since.
Today, I brought a product quality issue to Jerry's attention, and he immediately grabbed one of that item off the shelf, slapped a "Thank you" sticker on it to show it was paid for, and told me to check it and get back to him one way or the other. Based on my response, he will see if there is a problem to bring to the attention of the outside vendor.
Jerry always meets me with a smile and a handshake, and if there is an issue he takes it seriously and promptly attends to it. I have shopped at this store for several years now, and have always been pleased. Having now met one of the faces on the management team, it is easy to see why. Jerry is a genuine asset to this store.
