Internet service - Complaint

OAK PARK, MICHIGAN -- I have been trying to cancel my internet services from them for how many months now and they keep giving me the run around as to why it is taking so long for them to cancel it. Every representative I talked to had different excuses as to why it is taking so long. They keep telling it takes so and so business days before they can do it. Every time I check to see what is going on, they have different reasons as to why they can't do it yet. I really want to get this resolves and just leave ACN.

Why can't you call the internet provider & cancel your internet yourself? Can you not contact them directly? Thats a legitimate question, I'm not trying to be snarky. I've got relatives that sell ACN and have been trying to get us to cancel all of our services & utilities and go through them/ACN. Its my understanding that ACN is like a middle man or agent, they sell you a contract with AT&T or whoever, at a discounted rate. If the contact is in your name, can't you contact the provider directly? If not, well then we will definitely never switch to ACN, We want to be able to contact the service provider directly if there is a problem or we want to change or cancel.

I spent 4 months trying to get the iris phone activated. The tech team couldn't figure out the problem. After 4months of paying monthly fees while unable to send or receive phone calls I cancelled the service. They charged me an early termination fee. Their lousy product and service cost me $500. The worst part was my son sold me the product before he realized this was not a good opportunity!
