the stamps and service

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I didn't realize that a $16 service charge would create this much of a hassle. My car get 30 miles per gallon and at $4.00 per gallon I can go 64 miles for what Stamps charges me. Hey wait a minute my post office is only 2.4 miles from my office that means for my $16 I can go to my post office 32 times and buy the stamps that I need and not have to wait 3-4 days to get them in the mail.. Also if I run short and have to go to the post office I just defeated the whole purpose of letting someone else do the "running" right?

For those that live in a rural area it might be a great time and money saver but us city folks, where there are post offices almost every other block and god knows how many other retailers that also sell stamps and don't charge a service charge, I find that I just wasted $16 and will put an end to that immediately.

Like I said for some it might be grrrrreat, but for me "sorry charlie" it lays an egg.
